Things Borrowed From The Boys 1

Its true! Ok, so recently ive been obsessed with flannel. Not just any flannel, boys flannel! Recently i went thrifting con my parents and i got 2 boys flannels. Lemme say it real loud, YESSS! They are comfy, soft, and cuddly! Girls flannel are too tight in the lady area, hence me buying the boys type.
That got me thinking, what else do we borrow from the boys? So this is part one of my posts on boys & mens clothing. Enjoy! To introduce it, this is the polyvore:

CURRENT STATE OF BOYHOOD:
From what im observing, boys are currently in like with flannel, skinny jeans, puka shell necklaces, and vans. Most boys, i guess. Also, ive seen alot wearing all kids of shirts and these like super cool belts!

FLANNEL & SHIRTS:
One of my guyfriends is the one that kind of sparked my love for flannel. He's always wearing those kind of shirts, and i just love how he pairs it! Also, pink, baby blue, and any other colored shirts are being worn around! I love it! Its like ridiculously exciting to see a guy wearing something that he wouldnt before. I wouldnt call it originality, but its somewhat of a fashionable rescue in its own terms.

THE GRANDPA SWEATER & CREWS:
My dad has a gazillion crew knits, and i love them! They're super soft and girls can borrow those too! Cept they'd be way too big on me. Anyways, grandpa sweaters & crews are becoming really popular with boys now. I love how they pair them with skinny jeans or just other jeans and some cool sneakers. Its like effortless fashion, but it makes them look really good! Ive seen alot of color selection in these kind of knits, from orange to blue to green and back to gray. Or black. Whatever.

VANS, NIKE, DC, SNEAKERS:
I used to find wearing sneakers all the time kind of not cool, but now im loving it! I think its because guys know how to actually wear them now, instead of just wearing any random thing with them. Besides, im in like with colorful sneakers!

THOSE GRANDPA SLIP-ON THINGIES:
Before you cringe and say ew!, look in my pretty collage! Im talking about THESE, and im loving those too! I was at the mall one day, and i saw a guy wearing these with like awesome slack-type pants and a plain t-shirt. Im starting to think that boys are more stylish than we think they are!

BELTS BELTS BELTS:
Shockingly, boys are beginning to wear belts. GASPARD ULLIEL! lmfao. Its like a whole new era now. Boys belts may be big on us, but we still find ways to make em work. High five to us fabulous girls!

CASUAL SATURDAY MEETS CLASSY SUNDAY:
As in THIS picture, Logan Lerman shows off how to be classy without losing your cool. I LOVE IT! Check out the awesome vans, which i also posses, mixed with the suit! It makes for a whole new awesomeness! I love how his shirt has this kind of plaid look to it, which makes it a whole lot better! Classy, but definately not trashy!
