Read All About It!

READ: Ok im kinda down in the dumps. I mean, having a fashion blog is a really big step to trying to get into the fashion industry, but i dont feel like im doing much! I feel like im never gonna get there. Or maybe im just being naive? But take Tavi for example, she's meeting EXPERTS! And when they ask her age, they're shocked she's 13 because she's so amazing! I want to bring that shock factor to people, but most of all i just want to do fashion! She already has her doc martens inside Vogue's door. Im still trying to FIND Vogue-land! Oh well. We'll see. I need to start putting up more outfits too. Yay to the new year, huh?

ONTO THE POST!

Holaaaa! So, im gonna introduce yall to ANOTHER new store brand! COMPLOT!
Their stuff is AMAZING, and i put together a little mini post with some of my favorite looks from their lookbook.



THIS IS MY FAVORITE SET OF LOOKS!
1: That dress is so simple yet so awesome! With the boots & the jacket, its just one amazing outfit.
2: THE JEANS! I love them sooo much! & Im in love with graphic tanks right now.
3: Those short shorts are SO cute! I love the whole contrast between them & the boots.



4: I love the dress! For some reason, i like those shoes too!
5: That dress is cute! The best thing about this outfit is that its one of those that you can just jump into & still look great!
6: Im in love with the jeans & the tank dress!
7: Simple, yet chick! Big bags are love for me!
8: THAT SKIRT IS AMAZING! Prints skirts are really popular right now, and thats a great thing!

    i know what you mean about trying to get into the fashion industry like that-i feel the same way! i guess some people are just lucky like that. btw i love those black lace-up bailmain shoes in the last picture! =)

    OOooh Yes, that's so hard to become like Tavi or Jane !! But they're genious, I think... But that's easier to become a genious when your mother works in Fashion!!! I don't think a fashion blog can lead us to Vogue, but I personnaly use mine as an advantage when I have an interview for an intership in Fashion... If you want to have some advices for entering Vogue-Land, you should buy the Teen Vogue Handbook : I had it as a Xmas present from my brother and this is just beautiful an amazing! Good advices.

    By the way, I like your blog and you polyvore outfits. Be patient. ;)

    I agree! Connections are a major help. You know what I say, girls like us should find Vogue-Land! I know what you mean when you say its hard, but we can do it! Vogue-Land may seem millions of miles away but if we remove the heels, get a map, and get on the train we'll be there.
