First off, id like to thank all the people who have been reading my blog loyally. Id like to thank all my followers, facebook fans, blog friends, and everyone who comments or just scrolls through my blog. You guys have made writing Savile one of the biggest joys of my short-lived life, and I could never repay you fully for that. To all the lovely people who've given me the greatest chances, thank you so much.

Recently, blogging has taken a turn to a few bad events. Ive begun to get stressed out with achieving ideas, and trying to keep up a certain level of posting. Thats resulted in late nights, lots of ink & paper, and a very grumpy me running around the house.
Today marked probably the worst part of it, and due to an issue, I had to take down my last post.

So, I have decided to take a nice long break from blogging. I truly don't know how long my break will be, but I know that I have spent so much time on the computer and stressing about the blog, and not enough time on the outside enjoying my summer, and just my life in general. And with fall coming and school starting, I need to be ready to work hard, have a clear mind, and be able to balance everything together.

I may be gone for a month, or even three, but just know that my blog will stay on my mind. This isn't a goodbye, but really just a see you all later, & don't you forget about me.

I hope everyone has an amazing rest of the summer, and I really will miss you all. Tears were shed in the process of this thinking, but I know its for the best.

Summer Glitter Guide: Skirts

Lots of people in the world are obsessed with glitter, shimmer, & sparkles. I happen to be one of them! And especially in the summertime, I love adding that extra sparkle to my outfits!

One thing that glitters that I absolutely love are sequin skirts! I think they're absolutely gorgeous, and I fall for one every time I see it! I have yet to buy one for myself sadly, but Ive got my eye on one from J. Crew! They've really upped their shine attire! I styled a few outfits with two lovely glitter skirts, inspired by summer. Enjoy!

Daytime:

For the daytime, I think its a good idea to have a semi-low key look, instead of just packing on the shiny stuff! So, I paired a gorgeous J. Crew sequin skirt with an Abercrombie & Fitch denim shirt, some metallic flats, and a neutral/nude Chanel bag. Throw on some shades, and you're ready to hit the streets looking good with a little attention from the sun! Lastly, I added gold nail polish, to really set off the skirt, and also add a little more fun.

Nighttime:

Of course, this time of day is when you really wanna show off! Ive always loved this long J. Crew sequin maxi skirt, and I love its blue color! I paired it with a really pretty navy blue bustier from Nina Ricci, velvet black platform heels, and a white handbag. To top it off, I added a gorgeous silver-shimmer nail polish. I think this look is a fantastic way to look fancy, with a little simplicity on the side.

Armie Hammer for GQ

From the moment I saw Armie Hammer's gorgeous face, I was in awe. That was added onto me being in awe of his acting skills, playing 2 twins......at once. Then, he appeared in a GQ spread, and all hell broke loose. Simple yet perfect styling, amazing clothes, & just an overall insanely great editorial! Enjoy!

There's nothing sweeter than a little beachside romance, some surfing, & thats exactly what we see in this video showcasing Pret-a-Surf's 10/11 Resort line. I actually found this video on tumblr, and I absolutely loved it instantly! Its so adorable, and you cant forget the gorgeous swimwear!
I wish that when I had/have surf adventures in Ocean City with my cousins, that I'd look as cool and stylish doing so.

DIY: The Endless Summer

So this summer, ive really just been stuck at home bored for most days. Until last night, when I got a BRILLIANT idea! Why not cut up some old jeans (they still fit, but were too short), and make then into shorts! And while i'm at it, why not give them a SPARK? I went through a time when I was in LOVE with sewing, I made little pillows and things like that. Id always watched my mom doing it, so she taught me and I picked it up. Now, I think my love for it is coming BACK!
Thats when I grabbed a pair of scissors, a pair of jeans past their prime, and sat down to work. My eyes slowly wandered over to my desk, trying to see what else I could add onto the jeans. They drifted onto golden ribbon, and then to the GORGEOUS fabric that had come with my Kiel James Patrick purchase packaging. So, I got to work! Ladies and gentlemen, here are the shorts dedicated to my endless summer. Beautiful colors, pretty ribbon, and pretty wash. Enjoy!

If I had more fabric, I definitely wouldve gone around and lined the back too! But oh well, Im really pleased with how the shorts turned out! This was my first time cutting jeans into shorts, and also my first time adding anything onto them.Ive done other sewing projects, but this was my first like this.

So what do you guys think? I worked REALLY hard on them, and I really am happy with the end result! I did them ALL my hand, sewing and cutting etc. In all, they took about 3 hours, with a little break time. Thanks to the lovely people at KJP for supplying your customers with pretty packaging that enlightens creativity!

Pretty Little Suit Girl

Recently, my mom and I sauntered into Macys in search of a dress for an event she and my dad were going to attend. Usually, I just walk around in the Teen Department, drool over the shoes, and sniff the perfumes. But this time, I walked around with her and helped her look, and I ended up wandering to where the fancy stuff was. Thats when I discovered a new love of mine. S-U-I-T-S. Pant suits, skirt suits, dress suits, short suits. All suits! No, NOT the usual black or brown. The ones I saw were BEAUTIFUL. Pinks and teals and yellows and peaches! Gorgeous patterns, perfect cuts, playful looks! I made a little connection to Elle Woods too! Suits had never looked so fun, and I wondered why Id never looked at them before! I was a little overwhelmed by it all, but now I can say I truly love fun suits! Colorfull ones! Because when I THINK about going to work, to a meeting, or somewhere in a REALLY pretty pink ensemble, work doesnt sound too bad to me! Besides, there's nothing wrong with having a little fun while growing up!

So lovely readers, in this post I'll share with you some of the types of suits I saw! Enjoy, and leave a comment if you please!

   First up are the girly suits. I think we all recognize the world's favorite lawyer Elle Woods, and her pretty pink dress or skit suits! I love the little hat that she wore with it too! I saw some absolutely gorgeous girly suits, which came in different shades of pretty colors! Pinks, blues, teals. I really liked them! The all-pink suits were my favorite! I saw mostly tweed versions, and they were just REALLY lovely! I really love the idea of pairing these suits with flats, but pumps could work too!

   Next, I saw a few abstract suits too! There wasnt an exact word in mind for them, so I came up with abstract! With semi-long jackets, and then pencil skirts or dress pants. I think they're kinda heavy, so they'd be something to wear more in the winter time. With that said, I still saw a few with regular length suit jackets! Cant go wrong with a gorgeous black&gray&white color block jacket with triangle buttons! I thought of platform heels when I saw these suits.

    I REALLY loved the classic suits! The ones I saw the most were plaid or navy or red, and they were gorgeous! Very soft jackets, gorgeous round buttons, just SIMPLICITY at its best! I think they're suits for when you WANT to make a statement, but you KNOW you may have to tone it down. I really liked the plaid ones best, with black skirts or black dress pants. I would LOVE to see classic suits paired with loafers! But I guess it depends on the look as a whole, but I DID see some loafer-style heels!

     Last but not least, I saw really pretty PLAYFUL suits too! Gorgeous ruffle elements, paired with a simple skirt, or knee length shorts/pants. I think these are DEFINITELY more my style, but I really loved them best in color! I saw tons in teal, blue, and orange! Sincle ruffles are REALLY much more fun, I think pairing these suits with fun shoes would work very well! Kick boring out, keep fun in!

I absolutely LOVED seeing all the suits, and even though i have a few years to go, they definitely sparked a new though about office style in my head!

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Recently, ive begun to get REALLY into home decor and just interior design in general! So here's a post showing two interior designs ive come up with and put together, and the inspiration behind them! It'd be SO awesome if I went into interior design, and I definitely would love it! Enjoy!

For this one, I decided to create a bedroom. I think I really wanted to go for a rustic-ish and urban look, yet still retain some very soft qualities! I really love the simplicity of the bed, the cool designs on the chair, and the pattern of the cushion! I think those three and the light letter E really inspired the whole design all together. And also the Iron Z, which is a table accent. Oh and, I absolutely love the iron coffee table! How cool is that?! The street lamp may be for outside your house, but I think it'd be lovely to put it inside! 1 on each side of the bed, that would definitely be nice! Id like to this this room would be in an amazing apartment somewhere in SoHo.

I absolutely LOVE beach houses, adding onto the fact that I LOVE the beach and the ocean! For the second house, I also styled a bedroom but most of the elements COULD/WOULD be taken over into other rooms as well. I think the main reason I did bedrooms for both was because I would LOVE to re-do my room, and if I ever get to it, I want something to look at for more inspiration! I really would LIKE a room thats beachy-breezy but still really classic and cool. This room is definitely a little breath of fresh air, because the COLOR SCHEME is mostly vibrant! There's yellows, there's blues, there's teals, and creams! Its all in there! I definitely drew some inspiration from the beach and the ocean, which is why I went for white/cream furniture and then bright/pretty colors to accent that. Even though I tried to focus more on the beach scene, I DID want a little artsy-ness in there, hence the pretty chandeliers and the gorgeous pillow! Id like to think this room would be in a gorgeous beach house in Huntington Beach.

One thing that I've never lost throughout blogging and aging (i'm hitting the big ones) is my LOVE and ADORATION for Free People! For some reason, their catalogs randomly stopped getting delivered to my house....... of course i re-signed up my address, but going through a Free People-less period for me was basically going through a time without my main source of inspiration.

Free People's catalogs always have these beautiful ensembles, and they come out perfectly! Its this effortless cool, and I think really thats a lot of people's biggest fashion goal. The Perfumania tab is for Ralph Lauren's Big Pony #2, which smells AMAZING! Id gone perfume shopping with my mom, and ended up buying another perfume. But even if its for men, I will DEFINITELY try to get it! I can't even put my love for it into words!

Fishin' For Love!

A while back, my mom came home and told me she had a present for me from one of her work friends. Ofcourse I was ECSTATIC, until she opened the bag..........it wasnt EXACTLY what I expected, but I took it graciously and shoved it into my drawers and its been there for a few months.
After a while, I warmed up to the gift. Its a gorgeous jean jacket vest, with amazing art on the front and back! Ms. Suzie, thank you so much! Today, I was looking for something to wear and I stumbled upon it. I immediately put it on, and thought hmmmm maybe I was a little wrong before! It may be a little out there, but I just love it and its super cool! So here's an outfit post for ya.

Cheetah Print Days!

Cheetah print isnt only for shoes or clothes, or even for Cheetahs themselves! ITS ALSO FOR NAILS! So Im sitting around at home feeling bored, when I decide to do a little bit of creative working. The product? Watermelon-Inspired-Sorta Cheetah Print nails! I LOVE THEM! I did them a few times during the school year, but I think they're PERFECT for summer! Showin' off the wild side! Enjoy! & if you guys would like it, I could put up a tutorial for how to do them! I hope the pictures are clear enough, I was worried they wouldnt be. Toothpicks and Patience result in fun! I painted a base coat, then did random dots in 2 greens, then outlines them using a toothpick and a dark polish.

Falling Into Ease: List #1

Whenever im blogging or making Polyvore sets, or even just surfing the web I always come across lots of really nice things! May they be home decor, clothes, books, music, lots & lots & lots!

So, I decided to show you guys a few things I discovered over the past week that I really wanted to share! They made me say OOOO AAAA WOOWWWW I WANT! Enjoy!

1. Printed/Nautical Scarves: I really really love them! They have such a classic feel to them, yet the print makes them really bold!
2. Bandeau Tops: I sadly havent gotten around to wearing any, but I like bandeau tops a lot! I have so many ideas on how to wear them, and as soon as I hit up Forever 21, i'll show them off! I think if theyre worn the right way, they can be really fashionable!
3. Carissa Black: One of my favorite stores of all times is Carissa Black, because I love their products! They have really cool printed bags, coin purses, and makeup bags! Its just a whole collection of fresh and beautiful accessories!
4. Patterned Woven Flats: The moment I saw these flats, I fell in love! The tribal print is absolutely gorgeous, and I really like the subtle blue and white colors!
5. Runway Dreamz: The shorts from Runway Dreamz are absolutely amazing! They're fun, stylish, and really creative! They are definitely the shorts of summer, and you MIGHT be seeing a DIY SOON ;)
6. Clocks // Coldplay & Chicago // Sufjan Stevens: I recently heard a mash-up of these two songs, and I fell in LOVE with them! Wait.....thats an understatement. They've been on replay on my ipod for the past 4 days! Sadly, I couldnt find the mashup on itunes, but I have no issues with them seperately! They're both fantastic songs.
7. Nautical Stripes: Im still obsessed with nautical stripes! I went into American Appareal yesterday (Window shopping love!), and I was in stripe HEAVEN! I saw bags, I saw shirts, I saw shorts! The whole shabbang! Thats become basically half my dream closet!

A Little Arm Candy

Hey everyone, here's a little post. So in my last post, I talked a bit about stacking and how much I really loved it! WELL, today I wore a little bit of arm candy(jokes), and thought im NOT sure if its stacking or just me wearing something on my wrist, I decided to show you guys what graced my arm, and what I held onto. I wore basics today, not much just a tank top, shorts, and flipflops.
I feel like my KJP bracelet never gets the credit/love it deserves! Im always running around wearing it, but its missing in pictures on the blog. Bracelet, this one's for you! I absolutely love it, though its a little big for my wrist, its one of my favorites.

Colorblocking & Stacking

Snaps for a creative title! Lol. But this post is for TWO trends I may have missed out on blogging about! Colorblocking and Stacking! Now, colorblocking I think we could get. But stacking? Some of you may wonder. Stacking is wearing arm candy on your wrist and looking AMAZING while doing so! No, not arm candy as in hot-male-model. Arm candy as in pretty bracelets, bulky ropes, etc. Whatever floats boats! Enjoy this post! Its my little breath of fresh air.

I absolutely LOVE stacks! I did a few of my own with bracelets and watches and such, and I really have NO idea why I didnt post them up! Shame shame. But basically, I love BRIGHT and BOLD stacks! Ones that pop. Now, people have DIFFERENT versions of their own! For me, I figure there's 3 steps to making the perfect stack. Step 1: A few bangles or chain bracelets. For a classy touch, ya know? Step 2: Friendship bracelets! I LOVE FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS! They define a whole year of bff-ism, and theyre absolutely cute! For the classy stack, you can just wear a simple ALL BLACK bracelet. Or non at all.... Step 3: A watch. I usually go for a colorful watch, depending on the day. If you want a classier stack, then you can just wear a GOLD or SILVER watch. And THAT, my friends is the trend I MIGHT have missed.

I guess some people might not know what colorblocking is, which is ABSOLUTELY fine. Well, colorblocking is wearing an outfit pieced together with ITEMS OF SOLID COLORS. They may COMPLIMENT each other, or they may CLASH! Either way, its an AMAZING trend! The colors dont really HAVE to be neon or any color, but I really love those colors BEST! I think its an awesome trend! I usually think of sticking to 3 colors in worry of BLINDING someone, lol but you can do anything! Makes you pop out of the crowd, and DEFINITELY something you could wear out and show your FUN side! I definitely want to keep it alive for summer! There is NO rest in my styling this summer!

Bittersweet Symphony

Its day number........ehhh forget it. I think its day number 5, but im not sure. Either way, my summer's in the dumps already :(
Ive been trying to do product things, I really have. But I feel like ive been failing. I need to do something to change my perspectives. Something to change how I feel about a bajillion things. Just something I guess. Oooo and I REALLY wanna go boating! That would be the best.

Adding onto that is how bored I am. 14 year old girl + boredom + summer = I want school back so bad right now. I wanted this summer to be FUN! I wanted to go to the beach a million times, to play TONS of lacrosse, and to hang out with friends! But from these few days, I feel like thats not gonna happen. Ahhhhh. Well, atleast I get to go to the beach for the 4th of July! But thats so far away.......I need an idea that will REVOLUTIONIZE my summer! Ill start writing some down......maybe things can change!

Gingham, Boys, & Glitter.

Day #1 of summer, and im feeling pretty good! My main goal this summer is to NOT let it be boring! I have NO idea how im gonna work that out, but who knows? Anything can happen!
I decided it was time to do another styling post (I hope you guys dont get bored of these!), because I really love doing them, and I have the brightest idea! A cute, simple, and close-to-preppy outfit that directs toward summer. I may have swayed a bit from the usual Navy, but I really love the colors I picked for the outfit and the pieces too! Enjoy!

1. Simple Shirt:
At the beginning when I started putting together the outfit, I couldnt decide between just a white button down shirt or the pretty orange&white gingham. Personally, I would choose to wear the gingham shirt, but both would work! I think the shirt is the vocal point of the outfit, because its pretty much the first piece seen. I think either one of the two shirts would work, even if one is more simpler than the other, theyre both absolutely great.

2. Chino Skirt:
I fell in love with the chino skirt after I saw it on Unabashedly Prep being worn PERFECTLY by one lovely lady, and ever since then i've kept my eye on it for summer! I think its a really good piece to have in your closet, because you can just put it on, add a few things, and be on the go! I was thinking maybe you could tuck the shirt into the skirt. Sound good?

3. Boat Shoes:
AHHH SPERRYS! How I love you so! I know I profess my love for the classic sperrys as much as POSSIBLE, but I found these to be more suitable. I really like their simplicity, and theyre actually pretty cute! Do the classics have competition? I won't reveal that little detail. The ties in the front are too cute, much like those of the classics. I think the sperrys would just add to the outfit, because they POP in the BEST way possible. They may even be statement shoes.

4. Rope Belt:
I absolutely LOVE the color of this belt! And I think rope belts are REALLY awesome, and this one proves my point! One of the many ones from Kiel James Patrick, and they never cease to amaze. I think the color of the belt contrasts well with the color of the gingham shirt, but if you choose the white shirt it COMPLIMENTS it really nicely.

5. Headband:
Headbands are the accessories of the hair. I dont think thats much of an unknown statement. BUT, its the right headband that does that! I chose two really pretty ones, one simple and one a little more out there. Im in LOVE with the glitter headband, though! You guys know im a sucker for shiny stuff.

6. Tote Bag:
I think its obvious that I LOVE Longchamp bags! Seriously, I would do ANYTHING to get my hands on one! Well....maybe not ANYTHING. But I think you get my point haha. I really like the tan color of this bag, and the leather too. Like always, simple, classy, and absolutely perfect.

7. Shades:
Shades! You CANNOT forget the shades! I think Ray-Bans have always been in my top 5 list of things I NEED in my life! I fell in LOVE with this style of Ray-Ban shades the moment I saw them! They're a style that NOT everyone has, and they have this classic feel to them that just sets off the whole outfit! Who knew one thing could change everything?

Pursuit of Happiness

One day till im done with school, & OFFICIALLY A SOPHMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL! Oh yeah! Im so excited. Soooo happy I made it.

Anyways, recently my friend Ellen had a 15th birthday party. While everyone else went for the super fancy dresses etc, I decided to go for something a LITTLE more simpler and a LITTLE more fun. Hello! PARTY! So, I took a little visit to Sears with my mom and got an ADORABLE dress! It was only $14! Now, im not really SURE if its a dress........cause its kinda really short. But either way, I chose to wear TIGHTS under it. And to top of the look, I wore these black wedges my sister got for me that I REALLY like! They look simple, but to me theyre PERFECT! For some reason, ive been leaning towards simple items with COLOR, or simple items with PRETTY PATTERNS! Ive got a weird case! Haha.

SUMMER TREND WATCH: Belted Dresses

So summer is FINALLY around, and with it comes brand new amazing trends! One of my favorites that ive seen so far is belted dresses! Simple dresses, maxi dresses, flower pattern dresses, old fashioned dresses, EVERY KIND OF DRESS! So, I decided to show my own little take of the trend, and some of what ive seen around! I hope you like it, and I REALLY hope you try it out! P.S its about 90-something outside today! Ahhhh the horror! lol

Nauty Knots:
This is definitely one of my favorite takes on the belted dress trend! A nautical themed dress, usually blue&white or red&white stripes, with a rope belt/tie! I LOVE it sooooo very much. I think its just one of those casual looks that works SO well! My take on that would be adding some Sperrys, a simple Longchamp bag, and maybe a bracelet or two. I wouldnt wanna take AWAY from the stripes, so I think simple dressings would work best. But, the fun is you can add whatever twist you'd like! Thats my kinda dress.

Out & About:
I really love this one too! A brightly colored dress, then a somewhat neutral colored belt? Or just a bright color, whichever way! Haha. This reminds me of a day out having fun with my friends, and I tried to reflect that really well. In my take, id put on some brightly colored nailpolish to go with it, or maybe just something plain. Depending on my mood. Then id throw on some really pretty sandals, prefferably with some beads on them. To me, this look would be all about fun. Lastly, id grab a Longchamp bag (I dream of Longchamp daily) and id be up up and away. Oh, and id definitely add a necklace or two! Maybe even pearls.

Patterned Pending:
I feel like patterns are the highlights of summer, because you get to play up lots of things, including what you wear! Ive always been a fan of flower-print, and im actually wearing a really pretty flower-print dress right now! Ooo la la. I think the BEST way to belt a flower dress is to just go brown! A nice simple skinny brown belt, and you're set! Id definitely pair that with a colorful bag, some pretty brown sandals, and some pretty gold chains (Forever21 gold, heck yeah!). I think some statement necklaces would be awesome!

Long Gone:
Maxi dresses are absolutely gorgeous, and they went HUGE last summer and started to last year! So, I think its time to twist them up for THIS summer! Time to belt it up. I think a simple colored maxi dress works the best, and just a belt that has a color that POPS is perfect to go with it! Really, you can have so much fun pairing these things up! Id wear wedges or platform heels with this look, a simple necklace, and a really nice brown bag. This is probably a look id wear if I rolled out of bed and felt tired, OR if I was just going for that simple look ;)

ONE SHIRT, Two Ways.

As you guys know, I am OBSESSED with styling outfits! And, I absolutely LOVE the One Shirt, Four Ways (or however many ways) pages in magazines! So, I decided to do my own one for you guys, and HOPEFULLY give you fresh ideas for clothes you currently have! I hope you like them!

I started with a really pretty light Salmon Proenza Schouler top, and went on from there!

Way #1: Girl's Day Out:

For this outfit, I really wanted to style something FUN, SIMPLE, AND PRETTY! I didnt wanna overdo anything, but decided on some REALLY pretty simple (light) pastel colors that when together, would result in an AWESOME outfit! I really loved the color of the yellow skirt, and the WRAP style. I have a thing for wedges, and I really like these from H&M! The color is an EARTHY color, so it all works. I went for a white leather bag to add on, because in MY opinion, you can NEVER go wrong with a little white! Some pearl earrings for some ear bling, then a NEUTRAL light salmon nail polish completes the look. The HUGE MAIN GOAL of the outfit was to go for simplicity, and I wanted to make something that EVERYONE could go into their closet and re-create!

Way #2: Good Girl Gone Bad:
For the second look, I wanted to do the OPPOSITE of the first look. So, why not go a LITTLE edgy? I decided to pair the top with some denim shorts, and it'd be a choice whether to TUCK in the shirt, or to leave it out. To add to the BAD behavior, I chose a leather jacket, a studded leather clutch, then GORGEOUS black wedges! I told you I love them! For a little fun, I chose the snake ring, and some ribcage earrings. They're cute! For nail decor, I chose SILVER, BLACK, AND A GORGEOUS CRACKED POLISH! I really want to go out and buy the cracked nailpolish, because I really love how it looks! Its SO cool! So, the look isnt ALL that out there and edgy, but its PRETTY cool in my opinion, and a GREAT second way to wear the top!

Sell Yourself Short

After a much needed mini hiatus, im backkkk! & with me, I bring perfect weather, and adorable tidbits to wear in it! S-H-O-R-T-S.
I absolutely love shorts, and I think they're one of the best things about summer! I like them bold, bright, & out of control!

These shorts from J. Crew are adorable! I really love how they're multi-colored, striped, and they have this sort of oceany beach thing going on! Me gusta!

I really love the tribal print going on with these board shorts! J. Crew mustve read my mind ;)

THESE babies from Runway Dreamz are sooo pretty! I love the gradient of the colors from purple to pink, & I just love them overall!

Show off your patriotism (especially on a day like today or the 4th of July with these! They're simple, but then the flag takes the lead.

Check THESE out! Half lace, ALL amazing! Im in love. Seriously. These are absolutely perfect! And I love the black and white, and the ripped contrast. Wish list? YES!

FINALLY, I have an outfit post for you guys! So, this week school's been starting at 10:45 for me because of testing. Which gives me time to ROLL OUT OF BED, HEAT UP SOME PANCAKES, & MAYBE EVEN LOOK DECENT THAT DAY ;)

I am in utter LOVE with the white top im wearing! I got it for about $4 at Sears, and ive been itching to wear it ever since! Also, the sandals belong to my LOVELY older sister. I really wanted to wear a SIMPLE outfit today, but still want a LITTLE stylish flair in there! I hope everyone had a good day like I did, & im glad to be back to my normal blogging schedule ;)

Kate Spade NY: Sample Sale LOVE!

As the past few weeks have progressed, I have acquired a BRAND NEW OBSESSION. Lovely readers, I have fallen for the sweet styles of Kate Spade New York. For me, the reason Ive become attracted to Kate Spade is for the BRIGHT colors, & the GORGEOUS prints that are featured on most of their products! In my opinion, Kate Spade has this FUN and flirty style, thats a somewhat Preppy, yet it works for EVERYONE! Versatility at its cutest!

So, while tracking around my new found love, I discovered that Kate Spade is having a sample sale with peroducts 75% off, starting TODAY and ending this THURSDAY! So ofcourse, I HAD to let everyone know & also show you a few of my favorite picks!

Fashion Nylon Jasmine: I LOVE the color of the bag! Thats definitely what attracted me to it. It just looks like a fun bag, and something id really love for going out Downtown with my friends.

Wellesley Maeda: Firstly, the name of this bag is KILLER! And second, I love the shape of the bag too! Its just really adorable.

Hit the Dock Rudy: I REALLY love the knot style of the handle, and I really like the metalic color and feel!

Head In The Sand Neda: The orange color REALLY pops, and I like that! Also, I like clutch wallets, there's something about them!

Devote Mod Leopard Lacey: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PATTERN! And the black and white contrast is just absolutely too cute!

Cheltenham Zippered Chrissy: I love the name, and I REALLY like the metalic-ish look/feel! Also, I like the fact thats its a wristlet. Not sure why, but I like it!

True Love Grows

I think every girl dreams of her BIG day! Yes, the wedding day. The colors, the flowers, the venue, the food, & THE GROOM! And another thing I think we ALL think of is THE RING! Not too big, not too small, not TOO shiny, but JUST RIGHT!

So OFCOURSE I have to illustrate every LITTLE dream & thought of mine, so I did a little "my-future-wedding" styling post too! NO, DO NOT WORRY! I know I have a WHILE to go before I even think of marriage, but its JUST TOO FUN! Enjoy!

I COULD NOT pick a dress, but I REALLY love J. Crew's wedding dresses! They are SO simple yet ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! And I had the same dilemma for shoes, but I found three REALLY cute pairs! Every PRINCESS deserves a tiara, so I added one in there too! Im no princess though....yet! Haha. I really like the necklaces I picked, some from Tiffanys but there are others too. I picked a few GORGEOUS wedding bands & rings, but I know there are other ones out there! And for nails, Id really love a teal color or maybe a nice nude. The wedding colors would be White, Teal, & Nude

Wedding Venue? DEFINITELY somewhere by the beach! But NOT on the sand!

The Breath's Are Harder

Lacrosse is officially O-V-E-R! Im gonna miss my team SOOOO very much, but now this means I have LOADS more time to blog! Which, my lovely readers & friends, is my FAVORITE thing to do! But before I continue to pounce on my FAVORITE trends, I decided to bore you with updates of my little life! Haha. Well, for Lacrosse lets see. Hmmmm....I started EVERY game except for 2 and played Defense, & I was basically the go-to girl for defense. That sounds SO cocky, im sorry, but thats what my COACH said! I made SO many amazing friends on the team, adding on to my AWESOME friends whod id known forever who were also on the team!

I have NO idea why, but I never really talk about much personal things on my blog. Is that SAD? I feel like it is. Most of you MAY or MAY NOT know, but I am actually a HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN! Born September 28, 1996. AKA my favorite day! Haha. But throughout this year, I have grown SO much! I remember I was an annoying LITTLE pest at the beginning of the year, & i think I STILL retain my pesky qualities these days but I am SO much more aware! Ive learned SADLY that not EVERYONE is a friend, & that not EVERYTHING comes easy. Ive shed SO many tears. Gosh, I feel REALLY ridiculous! Over friends, over boys, over games, EVERYTHING. Its SUCH a revelation, especially with the year ending VERY VERY soon. Personally, I am SO proud of myself! Aside from learning how to be the BIGGER person, Ive had a VERY high GPA all year, AND I was recommended for two VERY honorable scholarships! It really SUCKS that I lost a few friends along the way, but I also gained A LOT of amazing ones.

High School may have shot down my self-esteem sometimes, but TRUST me, those times when you STOP a girl from scoring a goal, something AMAZING happens! For a moment, when you're WHEEZING and cant even breathe right, you feel REALLY REALLY GOOD! Haha. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I do!

I have SOOOO many stories from school, & I REALLY would like to start putting up personal posts too! Heck, I talk so much I might as well! Haha.

P.S I saw that Carly (thecollegeprepster.com aka one of my FAVORITE blogs) wrote a book about her Freshman year in COLLEGE. Ive ALWAYS wanted to write (Dad's a writer, go figure), what do you guys think of me writing a book about my Freshman year in HIGH SCHOOL? I absolutely LOVE giving advice to people, and the book could be a little advice to incoming Freshman, or current Freshman on how to deal? ORRRR just something fun to read? :) I havent STARTED it yet, but I DEFINITELY have the idea!

Water For Elephants

I am DYING to see the movie Water For Elephants! No, not for R-Patz, but for Reese Witherspoon and because it just looks like an AMAZING movie! Im a sucker for love stories, without vampires too, so this movie will be PERFECT for me to see! I REALLY hope I get a chance to watch it this weekend, but if not I guess ill live :( haha.
One of my friends is reading the book, and I decided to take THAT lead and read it too! So soon ill be in the library trolling for a copy!

Anyways, today is GORGEOUS! Im finally home from practice, and I decided to do another "What-Id-Wear-Today" styling post. Now granted, I actually wore something nice for this weather yesterday and pics will be up VERY soon, but these posts are SO fun for me! So, I decided to make a Polyvore set to illustrate my WEARabouts ;)

I decided to style something semi-simple for the day. First, There's that PERFECT Bandeau Bikini Top! Thats what inspired the title, amongst other things. I love the little tusk zipper! SO cute! Next up is the Alexander Wang silk tank, which I would ONLY button the last 3 or 4 buttons so the bandeau top could show. I added in some really nice acid wash shorts, and GORGEOUS platform heels! And last but NEVER least, a really PRETTY crystal headband, a nice leather bag, and glasses (I wear glasses, so I figured it'd work).

Spring Shoe ESSENTIALS: Shoe La-La!

Im sitting here in the computer room, legs up, curtains up, sun shining through. And im thinking about the SHOPPING I plan on doing this weekend with my cousin Tariro (Yup, SAME NAME! We're 2 days apart). The number ONE thing I want right now are SHOES! SHOES SHOES AND MORE SHOES!
Now, I know ALL the trend reports call for BRIGHT colors, which I am COMPLETELY in for, but for me when it comes to shoes for Spring, I want NEUTRAL & SIMPLE colors! Ofcourse I want something bright and crazy here and there, but I REALLY wanna keep it simple sometimes.

One Less Lonely Girl

It is absolutely GORGEOUS out today! Perfect weather, perfect breezes, perfect moods, & PERFECT thinking!

In math class, I saw a girl wearing Nude flats. Ofcourse, the shine and the look was so pretty, and it got me thinking. What would be MY OWN FAVORITE outfit to wear in the breeze? I decided that id deck myself out in sleek flats, a nice long Maxi Skirt, a GORGEOUS sheer blouse, with a smock top to settle it out on top. I'd add on Raybans, and a pretty leather clutch to match.

WHERE would I go, you ask? Hmmm maybe downtown. Grab a bite to eat, maybe watch a movie, walk around and shop? ENDLESS possibilities!

Im Diggin Your New Digs

You know what one of my FAVORITE things is? SALES! You probably guessed correctly! Hahaha. Recently, ive been going out and coming back with a bag full of a thing or two, so HERE are some of my newest additions to my closet! I CANNOT wait to wear them all & get it together! Enjoy!

Picture #1: My LOVELY new windbreaker from Lands End! It was only $6, and I LOVE it! Its pretty long, and its just SO comfortable! AND its water resistant! Works for me!

Picture #2: This is a lace top I got at Sears, and it was only $3! I REALLY like the color, and how simple it is! One of my ideas for an outfit is to wear a Bandeau top under it, the top over, and maybe some cute shorts over, tucking the lace top in. OHHHH the many possibilities of WARM weather that I want!

Picture #3: I absolutely LOVED this skirt from the first time I saw it! The print is absolutely GORGEOUS, and I really like the colors! The length is PERFECT, and I like the elastic waist part! The skirt was about $5.

Picture #4: Oh gosh, words CAN NOT express my love for this top! Its just GORGEOUS! I love the layering, and just the overall look of it! Its a little big on me, but I LOVE it that way! I dont own very many fancy tops, so this is definitely a keeper! Also, I can wear it SO many ways. From situations that arent as fancy (ie: Chipotle lunch date with friends) to super fancy (ie: Wedding Party of Family Dinner out). And, it was only about $6! Thanks Sears!

So, those are some of my new favorite things! I CANNOT wait to get outfits together and post them to show you guys! As usual, ideas are brewing in my head as I type!

MAKE Them Notice You

Hey everyone! Im REALLY excited about this post, & I REALLY hope you guys enjoy it too! For this post, Id like to share with you my FAVORITE patterns for 2011! Of course there's A LOT more that I really like, but these are just a FEW that I love and picked out.

2011 Favorite Patterns by -uncutdiamonds featuring lace tank tops

2011 FAVORITE PATTERNS:

Glitter (All That Glitters): As most of you have seen in my previous posts, I absolutely am in LOVE with glitter and shimmer! There's just something about it that excites me, and just makes me happy! And also, I personally think it DEFINITELY matches my personality! Im still absolutely OBSESSED with those gold shimmer toms, and hopefully ONE DAY ill get my hands on them! And also, take note of that GORGEOUS black cardigan in the back! I really really like it! And cant forget that EQUALLY pretty little dress!

Cheetah & Leopard Print (Raw-Raw-Riot): I absolutely positively LOVE these two prints! They're gorgeous, and when worn CORRECTLY, come out fantastic! Im not sure what makes me go wild for them. The fact that im from Africa (HAHAHA. Jk), or the fact that there's so many colors and ways to wear them! The oxfords, for example, are one way and I absolutely LOVE them! They are adorable. And I really like that pullover! The fact that its GRAY makes it simple, yet it just stands out really well! And can you NOT love those wedges? Impossible!

Lace (Lace, Lovers, & Flowers): Lace is just GORGEOUS! Its so CLASSY, yet it can be used so many different ways and come out ANY style you want! Some may want to disagree, but I think that lace is VERY versatile! It really depends on the colors, but there's SO many ways you can pair it! Maybe for an elegant out to lunch outfit, or even a FUN party night downtown (All Black Maybe?) I really love the two lace tanktops (especially the dark blue one! yum!), and I also really like the pullover. I love how its lace on the torso part, then the sleeves are just NICE sleek fabric.

Flower Print (Lace, Lovers, & Flowers): I actually only LIKE flower print. Dont necessarily love it as much as the ones above, but ya know. Its STILL quite gorgeous! I REALLY like the flower print Doc Martens, and the canvas oxfords are absolutely GORGEOUS! When I saw them I literally was in AWE! I really like flower print for DRESSES, but my goal for this year is to incorporate it into OTHER articles of wear. Such as shoes, OR maybe even Raybans! Haha.

Scarves The Rescue

As we all know, its SPRING! And with Spring comes pretty good weather (unless you're where I am FREEZING!), & LOTS OF PERFECT outfit opportunities! Some days in Spring, its not too cold and not too hot. So what do you wear as an accessory to balance out both? A SCARF!
Ive become an absolute HUGE fan of scarves and Pashminas, and have been trying to build up quite a collection. My favorite kinds of both are the LOUD & BRIGHT ones! Or the ones with th gorgeous PATTERNS and absolutely perfect weaving.
One place that has scarves I really love is H&M. They're all for such good prices, and there's a HUGE variety so you can pick some for EVERY SINGLE mood! Haha.

There's so many ways to wear scarves, like wearing one as a headwrap, around the neck: hanging on each side, around the waist, as a belt, and my favorite AS A WRAP SKIRT! The possibilities are ENDLESS! I think wearing a scarf really opens you up to be CREATIVE, and to experiment with colors & fabrics. Whats better than that?! Here are some of my favorite scarves, styles of wear, & some outfits I really like that are scarf included. Enjoy!

First Outfit: I absolutely love the colors and the pattern of the scarf! I really love the fact that the scarf just POPS out of the whole outfit, then the dark blue and the cream colors come after out in the rest of the outfit. I really like that she just lets the scarf hang, instead of trying too hard to make it show. Love love love!

Second Outfit: The color of the scarf is VERY subtle, and so the way she pairs it with her other articles of clothes is PERFECT! The neutral color is kind of a pale nude, so it just stands out really nicely. Also, I love the way she wrapped the scarf around her neck and then it droops down to her shoulder. Absolutely LOVE the style!

Third Outfit: OH.MY.GOSH! Her whole outfit is ABSOLUTELY perfect! From the pale see-through skirt, to the JC Litas, to the huge clutch, to the PERFECTLY colorful Pashmina scarf! Its all so great! I love how everything is bright, yet it all stands REALLY well together. I like how she WRAPPED the Pashmina around her neck then let it droop a little.

Fourth Outfit: I really like the grays and blues of the outfit, the scarf included! The pattern of the scarf is REALLY pretty, and I like how she used it as a little bow BELT! Thats really creative, and it all comes out really well! P.S how adorable is her bow headband!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO YOU! I hope you had a fun one, & DIDNT get pinched (unlike me! haha). Well, for this special day, I bring to you a St. Patty's day themed outfit. Just because you have to wear green DOES'NT mean you have to look iffy, and it DEFINITELY means you get to play out with DIFFERENT shades of green!

Longchamp Le Pliage Bag In Green: I am absolutely OBSESSED with Longchamp bags right now, & I really am thinking of just saving up a little bit more and SPLURGING on one! They're so simple, yet so gorgeous! I really love the color of this green, though id love it even MORE if it was a bit of a darker green lol. I love how the brown of the leather fits together with the green of the bag, which just sets of an amazing bag all together.

Quorra Peeptoe Booties: I absolutely love these shoes! They are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, and I love the design of them! There's actually a sandal version of the shoe HERE if you want to check it out (just like the booties, but cutout on the sides), and they are both just PERFECT! I would really have no issue just closing my eyes & paying for them, then wearing them everywhere! lol

Knotted Mesh Necklace: I really really like the necklace! I think I LOVE it! Its so gorgeous, & I absolutely love the knotted style! Also, mesh is just really cool.

Lady Lace Pullover: Ive seen A LOT of pullovers like these, but I think I like this one best! I love how the lace is much more evident, covering pretty much the whole front of the upper body, and how its just all one color to retain simplicity. I think its a BEAUTIFUL pull over!

Double-Finger Cross Ring: As you all know, Im DYING to get one of these rings! They are absolutely GORGEOUS, and I just love them! This ring seems like its just "cool", & I think we all want a slice of that! haha.

Raglan Scoopneck Tee: A shirt for FIFTEEN bucks at J. Crew? A MIRACLE! Lol. This scoopneck is really simple, its ALL COTTON, and it comes in ARMY GREEN! I think its basically anyone's dream shirt ideas spun into one! I definitely want to get my hands on one before they disappear!

H&M Skinny Jeans: I really like these jeans because they're simple, so that leaves A LOT of possibilities for styling them! They could either be the comfy jeans on a calm, simple, windy day, or the ones you wear with an AMAZING statement piece on a day you might wanna show off!

Goodies Galore, What Else Is In Store?

OMG! IS THIS A POST?! Haha, yes, yes it is! Im SO sorry for leaving you with a postless week! Lacrosse & School have TAKEN OVER my life! But, Im back & I bring goodies!
Recently, on a little shopping trip to Sears with my parents, I picked up some AMAZING desert shoes! I absolutely love them, & they're so comfortable. And the BEST part?.........they were ONLY $10! They're water-resistant(lets just say....i had a rough day! lol), & I just LOVE them!
And also, I just received a LOVELY package from Carissa Black, the owner of one of my FAVORITE stores Carissa Black. What did I receive? Non other than an absolutely GORGEOUS cosmetic bag, with a two-shade pink pattern on the outside, then an UNBELIEVABLY pretty pattern inside! Hmm....ill let the pictures do the talking! Lol.

Im all smiles! I hope for good days today & good days forever(:

P.S I have an INTERESTING idea for my shoes! Im thinking of getting a bunch of wild-colored shoe laces, & changing up the laces on the shoes. So sparkly blue laces one day, & neon pink another? DEFINITELY! What do you think?

Summer's Golden Armour

While doing my usual blog-trolling, I came across some absolutely GORGEOUS swimsuits, & I decided it what time for show and tell! Haha. These swimsuits aren't your usual SUPER printed, BRIGHT, and FUZZY ones, but trust me, they will SURELY catch eyes on the sand, AND in the water! Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you VPL Bikini Bathing Suits, aka my newest obsession! They are a little expensive, so for me these are EYE CANDY. But one day, one faithful day, they WILL be mine! Lol.

Top Suit: I really love this swim suit! I love the glittery copper part of it, and how its more of a tankini, but a VERY stylish one at that! I also REALLY like the caged style of it, & Its just really nice!

Bottom Suit: I really like this suit as well, but its more of a classic black/white/cream color. As most of you know, Im VERY much of a glitter girl! Lol. I actually DO love the fact that its really a classic style, and it doesnt stand out TOO much but its out there just enough. Like the one above, it has the caged style, which seems to be REALLY popular!

Blue Bikini Above: THIS is my favorite bikini out of all three! I absolutely love the colors, and also I really like the style! Its a bandeau type bikini top, and just from the FIRST time I saw it I loved, & I still do! I can really see myself wearing it. I just have to get together $200 for it........THAT might be a little problem! Lol.

VACATION, vacation!

That is EXACTLY what I want! Lol. I have VERY good news, I MADE THE LACROSSE TEAM! Our first scrimmage is on Saturday, then after that we have the actual games & practices! GO LADIES!

Ive grown to absolutely LOVE long black maxi skirts! I dont know if its because I saw them somewhere, or because I saw someone wearing them. Probably BOTH! The long black maxi skirts are absolutely GORGEOUS, and they're just so simple yet stylish! Im thinking of going shopping next weekend, & I definitely will SCOUR Forever 21 for one!
While on my shopping adventure, I plan on FINALLY buying those absolutely gorgeous Classic Sperry Topsiders! And also, I finally found the double finger ring I wanted for a GREAT price (under $10), so I plan on getting it tonight!

This is my vacation themed outfit for this post, and I must say I REALLY like this outfit! Its just a bunch of simple things put together to make, what I think, is an amazing outfit! Take note of the Sperrys (Which will be my OTHER purchase next week, hopefully), the Black maxi skirt, the Double Finger Cross Ring (I fell in love with it, & will NEVER let it go!), and that leather satchel!(I found a bag JUST like it on Asos, so I might get that one) This is definitely something I would wear out downtown in the summer, or even to a place by the beach. There's just something about it that I REALLY like! Not sure what yet though.

P.S keep on the lookout for a new post with GORGEOUS shoes I got for $10 at Sears! Trust me, it'll be worth it!

RING RING! Pull The Trigger!

So recently, ive developed a love for RINGS! All sorts of rings. Bright colored rings, black & white rings, plain rings, & even rings FILLED with little surprises! So now, I plan on going to Forever 21 and just LOADING up on rings! Haha.
For this post, ive selected a few pictures of absolutely GORGEOUS rings I love, & its just a little hand candy post (get it? hand candy? i kid! i kid!), for you guys and myself. I hope you enjoy it!

I REALLY like the scull ring! Its kind of dark, but I really like it.

I really want a cross ring like the one she's wearing, or one ill post below. They're really nice, & i love the style.

There's the kind of cross ring I want, & its fit to for two fingers. I REALLY like it! Im not sure exactly why, but I just like it. Also, I really love her full finger ring! Its a little long, but its gorgeous!

Ships Ahoy! I really love these rings. They're simple, yet they're gorgeous & just make their own statements.

Wow! I just love ALL the rings she's wearing! My favorites are the bows, the snake, the leaf, and the multi-heart ring on her right hand.

This ring is just BEAUTIFUL! Thats ALL i can say! It literally leaves me speechless<3

I really love ALL the rings she's wearing! The first two on her left are gorgeous, yet really simple. The scull one is just AWESOME, the one on her pointer finger is really pretty, the flower one is SO cute, the picture flower one is GORGEOUS, & the pearl is so adorable! In The Breeze; Oh The Places I'll Play....

For the past few years, i've been CONSTANTLY DREAMING about owning a beach house when I grow up! AHHHH! It'd be so beautiful.........I can just feel it. I want one thats REALLY close to the sand & water, but not TOO close haha! I'll always leave the door WIDE open so people can come in, the more company the better! But what I ALWAYS day dream about is that I wanna have this HUGE gray metal basket, and thats where people would put their shoes in, or even just pick out a RANDOM pair to wear down to the water. I feel like ALL that will be in there are Sperrys though! Lol. I welcome the smell of Sea Salt, & everything that comes with it. So, every time im stressed out about a paper, or im worrying about some other thing, I just THINK & DREAM about my future beach house. It doesnt need to be FANCY or even HUGE, just as long as its peaceful<3

P.S I really really LOVE the beach house in Nights in Rodanthe! Its SOOOOOO gorgeous! I think THATS what Id want mine to look like! Yum yum! Lol.

Its so full of VIVID & LIVELY colors, & it really makes me wish I was still in my elementary school years, filling up on tons of sugar(a past-time i shall NEVER get over), and having LOTS of fun! HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY♥
I hope you all had a fantastic Valentines day, & I hope it was very special to you! Mine was pretty good, flowers from my AMAZING friends included, and also I went to the VALENTINE'S DAY DANCE! I got to wear a GORGEOUS Zipper Dress from one of my favorite stores, Tulle(tulle4us.com). So Ill post a picture from the dance in this post.
For this post, I just wanted to put up a few things I am currently in LOVE with! Its literally a WISH-LIST, but with everything I am DYING to get a hold of! Enjoy!

ITEM #1: Long Sequin Skirt - This skirt was actually featured in TEEN VOGUE! So ofcourse ive dreamt about it for the past two weeks, then I open up TV & its right there! I REALLY think its a sign from the stars! Lol. I love the color of this skirt, and how its just so flowy! The sequin idea just makes it ten times better. Its a Mermaid skirt, & I LOVE it!

ITEM #2: Classic Sperry Topsiders -I NEED Sperrys! Every outfit would go SO well with them, & I really wish I had them! I really love these ones because they're simple, yet they stand out and just make everything look super good.

ITEM #3: Le Pliage Bag from Longchamp -This bag is so simple, yet really awesome! Ive seen a few girls at school who have it, and I just stare and drool, wishing one of them were mine! Haha. I love how the colors are all so vibrant, & there's such a great assortment! Definitely on my want list!

ITEM #4: Aqua Raybans -We've talked about this......I know im addicted. The only cure? THESE BABIES in my hands by Summer 2k11! They're BEAUTIFUL! Thats all I shall say XD

ITEM #5: Naval Tee -J. Crew is DEFINITELY one of my favorite stores right now, and when I laid eyes on this Naval Tee I fell in love! Such a simple piece with great impact!

ITEM #6: Schoolboy Blazer -I NEED A BLAZER! All the ones I had before are MUCH too small, & I just want a simple blazer that I can pair with anything! This one is just absolutely perfect!

Its ALMOST SPRINGTIME! So ofcourse us weather confused fashionistas MUST start early! Or.....is it just me? Haha. Well, while cleaning my room I discovered a new white dress! Its really soft, and pretty flowy. So I decided to try something new, and see how I could wear it. So what came out of it were a studded-sleeve cover, rustic boots, and a really lovely bag. Oh, and Im not sure how the lacrosse stick got in the mix. MAYBE cause its almost lacrosse season? ;D

P.S this look was somewhat inspired by Free People, & so I posted the inspiration picture at the bottom from the December 2009 Catalog. Free People.........WHY so amazing?

Building Blocks, Ceramics Rocks!

Hey everyone! This is one of those posts that may not be fashion related, but are an absolute MUST for me to show you! Haha. I hope you like!
So for this year (freshman year), I got to pick one elective to take the whole year for my Art credit. I chose CERAMICS! I hadnt taken the class EVER before, but I decided to take a chance and see what would happen. My first two projects were somewhat of a........MESS? Lol. But after a while, I got the hang of it!
So he're are my two FAVORITE projects from my very first semester of Ceramics. Yes, I did this ALL by myself in class. My teacher has been teaching it for about 23 years, so THANKS MS. E!

Ceramics was SOOOOO much fun, & Im so happy Im taking it second semester too! *Im not a professional by any means, just a girl having fun in class :)

Project #1: Greek Pottery Project

For this project, we had to make a Greek-inspired pot, telling the story of something. So, I decided to tell the story of the Ocean. Loud & Playful in the day, Quite & Calm at night. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, & am SO proud of myself! One of my favorite parts is the little topper, because I got to color the top star a cool white/blue marble combo. I also really like the stars on the night side!

For this project, we had to make out very own MUGS! But the theme was to put a face in it somehow. So, I decided to make a playful Pink mug, & I actually like how it came out! And YES, those are White Raybans! ;)

Every Summer, We Go Forth

While I try to understand a few things that are bugging me and attempt to kill a bad day, I hope you guys enjoy these videos from GANT Rugger. Ive never seen such an amazing men's line, with such a GREAT way of showing off their products! Male Models + Good Clothing = HAPPY TARIRO! Just listening to the soothing music helps a lot, and the guys arent so bad either. This is one of those things I REALLY love to share.

The second one is my ABSOLUTE favorite! GANT has done such a great job of showing off its vision, & showing off a simple yet perfect lifestyle.

I first heard U.S Royalty's music when I saw the first video above, & have fallen in love with it ever since! Its so calming, and when you listen closely you can tell is has MEANING and FEELING! Something that sometimes lacks in some of the new music today. I might get a chance to see them in the coming weeks, so fingers crossed! Hey everyone! I have a REALLY exciting post for you guys! So, as 2011 comes along we've all made resolutions. Some of us, even STYLE resolutions!
I, my lovely readers, am one of those who made Style Resolutions. From Colors to Patterns, from Pink to Cheetah. Im gonna show you what Im REALLY looking forward to wearing this year, and how I plan on wearing it. Blogging and seeing other blogs has definitely opened me up to new things, and I really feel like THIS is the year to experiment. Enjoy!

2011 COLOR PALETTE:

Black: I dont think any fashionable year would be complete without a little Black! I like to think of Black as the go-to color when you cant find that ONE piece to complete an outfit! Sometimes, when Im going to out to dinner with my family, I really want to look my best. So I break out all my favorite colors, then one black piece of wear to set it all off. Personally, I think Black just makes everything look better ;D

Gold(Shimmer): I think by the end of 2011, we'd established that I had a thing for shiny bling. Or more likely, shiny clothing. Ive ALWAYS been a big fan of shimmer! J Crew has done an AMAZING job introducing shimmer into their clothing, and though some people are NOT fans of that, I am a HUGE fan! ANY clothing brand that's well known for good quality is a friend of mine, and when they have some of my favorite things its AWESOME! Take a peep at the shiny Gold toms, and the two Cardigans from J Crew.

Mint: EVERYWHERE I go someone's rockin mint! Im starting to get a little in love! Haha. Mint nails, mint clothing, mint bags, mint drinks! ITS A MINT WORLD! I just absolutely adore the color! Its so subtle, yet utterly gorgeous! In the second outfit, you can see the scented Mint nailpolish. Im not sure if id go fort scented nail polish, but hey. ANYTHING that looks that good, ill like!

Coral: Wanna know something funny? IM WEARING A CORAL SHIRT RIGHT NOW! I absolutely positively am loving coral right now! For some reason, I get compliments when I wear this shirt! Im thinking that maybe this could be my signature color? Does ANYONE have a signature color? Haha. But yes, I proclaim that you shall see LOTS of Coral on Savile.

Pale Pink: When I was younger, I abosolutely ADORED pink! Like bubblegum super Barbie pink. But now, Ive somewhat toned it down to just a little pink. I feel like a little pink goes A LONG way, maybe all the way to the Valentine's Day Dance? Which by the way, I REFUSE to skip! Haha. Ive seen A LOT of really pretty pale pink blazers, so maybe I shall attempt to get a hold of one. Thrift store trip? YES!

Outfit #1: As you can see in the image at the Polyvore set on top, there are two outfits. They are both just ways id interpret each of the colors.

The first outfit is pretty much something Id wear to school, or even out with my friends Downtown. Its a really fun outfit, straight reppin' my personality, and DEFINITELY something id wear! I couldnt pick between the Cardigans, so as you can see there are two very shiny ones in it. I didnt wanna go on a color OVERLOAD, so i picked to wear it with white skinny jeans.

Outfit #2: This is a MUCH more dressed up look. The only time I could think of wearing this is maybe to a dinner? To a dance? To a fancy party? Or.......to my very first Magazine party? Yes, I shall get there one day. I really love how shiny the dress is, but its not TOO much. It gets pretty toned down with the black blazer. I also REALLY REALLY love those shoes! 1 word, KILLER!

So I hope you all enjoyed this post! Dont worry, these arent the ONLY colors i'll be wearing. Just my favorites, and ones Ill be looking forward to.

As some of you may have read previously, I play field hockey. Not just as any other member, but as the JV GOALIE! Yes! Little tiny me is the goalie. I had played field hockey before, but taking on the position of being a goalie was STRESSFUL, HARD, & IN THE END VERY WORTH IT!

I really have always wanted to just have ONE blog post where I write a little more about myself and my blog, so what time is better than now? New Year, new readers, new information!

Well, I guess I can start of on myself. My name is Tariro, im 14 years young, and I LOVE fashion. Ive always been the one to dress a little extra, to wear the white Mary Janes, not the black ones. To wear the sparkles, not just the regular. I was born on September 28, 1996 in Harare, Zimbabwe. I moved to the United States when I was 8, and thats when I began to fall in love with graphic designing. I taught myself how to use Photoshop and other graphic programs, and its been on since then! My dream job is to be a creative director at a magazine, and I would LOVE to model for Free People. Im VERY loud, vocal, and I literally run on sugar. Im always available to help ANYONE who needs it, and I have learned that there is NOTHING wrong with being myself.
Currently, I am a freshman in high school. I play Field Hockey, Lacrosse, and also enjoy the new-sport called Boy Watching. IM KIDDIN' IM KIDDIN'. Im always up for new things, and having fun. I love my family, and without them I have NO idea who Id be. Im still on the great journey of self-discovery, so if I could tell you EXACTLY who I am, I would. But sadly, I cant. I think of myself as a HUGE puzzle that just will never be done.

Now, about my big bad blog. Savile. My blog is named after Savile Row. Whats that? You may ask. WELL, its an AMAZING shopping street in Mayfair, central London.
Before I started my blog, id always read about it in Magazines and other writings, so I decided well......why NOT make my blog a tribute to The Row?
HOW did I start blogging? Well, one day a new issue of Teen Vogue arrived in my mailbox. Inside it were stories of girls who'd started something called a BLOG, where they talked about their LOVE for fashion. And a lightbulb went off in my head. WHY couldnt I do that? I asked myself. Well, I actually COULD! What other better way to show my ideas, and see the ones of OTHERS than a blog?
So, I hopped onto blogspot.com, and Savile was born. Even from my FIRST post, I knew that blogging would be one of my FAVORITE things to do! I loved being able to say what I REALLY liked, & sometimes what I DIDNT. Also, I LOVED seeing other blogs! I loved reading them all, and it just seemed like one huge community!

As of now, my blog is JUST as special to me as on the FIRST day! I have 92 AWESOME followers, lots of AMAZING readers, and so many opinions voiced RIGHT here on my own blog! To tell you the truth, there were SO many people who really didnt/dont believe in me. BUT, I proved them wrong, and shall continue to do so. Through blogging, ive made SUCH amazing friends, learned A LOT of new things, and also have been able to get a LITTLE PEEK at the actual fashion world! Who knew that I could be RIGHT there with my favorite stores, just from a click? Who knew I would be to CONNECT with millions of other bloggers around the world, from just typing in a few words?! I can help others decide whats GOOD to buy, and what might NOT be.

I am SO thankful for everything! For my readers, my followers, my fantastic blog friends, and most of all my family! ALL of you are part of a great journey for me, and EVEN THOUGH we're all not sure EXACTLY where ill land, we're in it together.
For a while, I felt as though I had begun to post about things I really didnt care for. As much as INFLUENCE may be a great thing, sometimes its what brings us DOWN. In 2011, ALL you're gonna see in 100% Tariro. Not 95%, 100%. I have good things set up, so STAY ALONG♥

A Challenge To Mr. Darwin

OH SURPRISE! Two outfit posts back to back! Ahhh! Im just as excited as you all! Ive had such fantastic outfit ideas for this week, and I really couldnt wait to put this post up! I dug up an old belt, put on a new jacket, and slipped on my weather boots. This my friends, was what I wore today. By the way, thank you for all the awesome comments on my previous post! Enjoy!

Those amazing shoes pictured above are my BABIES! Haha. I absolutely adore those shoes! They are warm, fluffly, and just look really good! My dad bought them one day at a thrift store, and brought them home for my little feet to enjoy!
Also, this is one of those times when I actually REALLY like the pictures of the outfit! Who wouldve known? ;) I have lots of really good posts lined up for the next week or two, so please keep posted! One of my favorites will feature something showing Team Spirit!

Off With Her Red!

Ahhhh the Queen Of Hearts! Well, today has basically been the most stressful day ive ever had and ALL I want to do is take a nap! High School is a mess. But hey, I looked pretty good today! ;)
Here's a few pics from what I wore today.

The scarf belongs to my lovely mom, who lets me borrow hers all the time. The pullover is from Forever 21, & it says Broken Hearts Club! Haha. Forever 21 jeans, & the all fluffy all warming Uggs!

I really love the last two pictures! I dont know what it is about them, but they're just.......artsy somewhat? Or maybe just the last one? And by the way, check out my nails in the first picture! I was trying to do some pretty design, and somehow at 1 am they got so messed up that they ended up just looking like a marble effect. I LOVE EM! Funny how at first I was freaking out, but now I like them!

Well, Im off to take a VERY long nap! Then I shall attack my homework. Thanks for all the comments! You guys ROCK! 2011 is already off to an AWESOME start<3

To Twiggy And To Fun, 2010 Is Done!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! 2010 is done! Im so shocked to even think about it, and when I look back I cant believe how much ive grown! I cant really say my life turned around completely, as there wouldnt be much to turn to (if you dont count exams).

I have grown SO much this year! I remember when 2010 first started, I was just a little pumpkin trying to fit into the world and just hiding everything I really wanted to be. NO ONE knew about my blog (even my parents!), and I wouldnt always just shrug everything off. My confidence was SO low, and I had some very hard times. As 2010 ends, I can say that I have matured. When I started high school this year, I threw caution to the wind and Im FINALLY living my life! I stopped letting people step all over me, and I just let myself shine through. As 2011 starts, I think its time to just take being myself to its best level. Im ready to try new things, and just go for my dreams! I may be young, but I sure have the drive to get to where I want. Bus tokens? Im never low on those.

Id like to thank ALL the people that read my blog! You guys are INSANELY amazing! I never ever thoughts anyone would actually want to listen and see what I like, but when I type in the URL to my blog and see a new comment, my face lights up! You guys have made me realize that anything is possible if I just try my hardest, and I promise not to ever let you down. Deep down, I can feel that 2011 will probably be the BEST year of my little life! Because I am coming into it prepared for the challenges, and ready to go the extra mile. Vogue? Watch out for me! Im coming, and Im coming strong! Free People? I can feel your Teen Line in my little veins! World? Get ready for a tidal wave of Tariro-ness!

By the way, speaking of my title. I dont know if I ever mentioned this, but I have lots of family that live in England. When my Aunt Sharon discovered exactly HOW MUCH I love fashion, she told me I reminded her of Twiggy. Yes, the model. But back in her younger days. It meant so much to me, and I just glowed for months! So, Id like in 2011 to think of myself as a Twiggy. Ready to take on the world.

Dirty Olympian Gold & Spa Days

Hello hello hello. Ive been having somewhat of a bland winter break so far, and I decided that I shouldnt just waste my time mopping around. My solution? HAVE A MINI SPA DAY! So here's a post about it, and what I used.
Yes! You read it correctly. I decided to have a spa day. I didnt go all out crazy, but it was so much fun! I really recommend this for EVERYONE! You dont need to have $500 products! Just a few things, some good music, and good spirits.

For Christmas, my friends gave me lots of really nice things. Before I continue with my post, I just wanna say thank you to all my friends! You guys are amazing, and I am so happy to have people like you in my life.
For the little spa day adventure, I used the Sex Bomb bath bomb from Lush(courtesy of Kimberly), Grease Lightning skin cleanser(courtesy of Amy), and the Coach shiny gold nailpolish(courtesy of Amy). Who knew Coach made nailpolish? Either way, its AMAZING!

Sex Bomb Bath Bomb:
I really loved the bath bomb! The name is a little.....out there? But its so amazing! I take showers, instead of baths so I used mine in the shower. It wasnt as difficult as I thought it'd be! What I did was I first wet my towel, then wrapped the bath bomb in it to make it a little soft before use. IT MADE POPPING SOUNDS! Probably the highlight of my spa day! When I turned the water on, I rubbed the bath bomb on my towel and just got clumps of it. When I first used it on my skin, it hurt a little so I ran it under water some more. I prefer using the bath bomb at its softest, using it as a scrub. It made my skin SO SOFT! Appareantly it has soya milk in it for that? I highy recommend using this bomb. I must warn you, ITS QUITE MESSY! Pink water everywhere my friends! Haha. I give it a 9/10. 1 point off for being a little rough at first, and for the mess. Otherwise, I love it!

Grease Lightning Skin Cleanser:
Its this really nice smelling gel for face cleansing. Thats pretty simple. I really liked this cleanser! Its to take off oil on your face, and just make it really clean. I used this before I showered, then just washed it off in the shower. It kind of gave off the effect of my skin being tightened. That was sort of uncomfortable for me. But other than that, it was AWESOME! My face looks really good and nice and shiny, and REALLY soft! I also scrubbed my face with the bomb, so the combination works great! 10/10

Coach Gold Nail Polish:
NAIL POLISH! I dont think Ive ever talked about it, but I LOVE nail polish! And as you all know, I am officially IN LOVE with gold and sparkles! Did you guys know I can make cheetah print designs on my nails? No? Well, ill make a post about it soon! My friend Amy gave me this nailpolish, which she got from her mom's nailshop. Its so pretty! It reminds me of like actual gold, and the Olympics. Hence the tittle. I took my time to do my nails, and they came out really well! I recommend layering though, because one coat isnt really enough. Its almost like a tint, so I added more layers because I wanted it to come out really well. 10/10

So, there you have it! The contents of my little spa day. It was really fun, and such a great experience! I got to use the great gifts my friends gave me, and I got to look fantastical. Also, below there's pictures of the products I used AND the Vera Bradley my friend Kimberly gave me for Christmas! I was SHOCKED when she gave it to me, and I love it! It can be a clutch, or a little shoulder bag with the strap. I hope you guys had AMAZING holidays, and I hope you enjoyed this post! Maybe, it gave you an idea for your own spa day? ;)

Vera Bradley Galore!

Hey guys! Here's a post I COULD NOT wait to write!
So remember how I have an utter love and soft-spot for Vera Bradley? Well........I might have sort of splurged on two of their bags! YES! I decided that after working my butt off in school and getting the good grades, I should spoil myself! Now ofcourse, Im on the budget of a 14 year old, so I didnt buy the whole store (sadly), but its a start! Also, on a sidenote: The ladies at the Vera store I went to were FANTASTIC! Such great customer service.

On black friday, I bought the Emma bag in Very Berry Paisley (Yum!) for $35
And this Saturday, I bought the Coin Purse in Blue Rhapsody (GORGEOUS color!) for only $11!
They had such fantastic sales this weekend, and I will definitely go back for more! Just a heads up, at Crabtree & Evelyn they had 25% off EVERY Vera Bradley item! Thats where I got the Emma bag.

I must say, I love the bag! Its a drawstring, and has two compartments, one on each side. It also has a pocket inside and LOTS of room! This baby is precious! I treat it like a princess's bag!

My first ever Vera Bradley item was a coin purse in Petal Pink (I MISS IT), and I was in LOVE! I used it ALL the time! I had it for about two years, and sadly I left it in a bathroom at school and never found it :(
Its okay though! Ive got a new coin purse for my change.
Btw, when I went to the Vera Bradley store on Saturday, I couldnt help but laugh! All the husbands and boyfriends that came in looked SO lost! I heard a few of them talking to each other saying, "I dont know what to get her! I just know she LOVES this Vera Bradley stuff". Some of them even had to sit for a minute, others had to call their mothers, it was just adorable! If your hon got you a Vera, then just commend him on his effort before anything else.

Late Night Shimmy Downs

There is something I currently LOVE.
Mesh-back little black dresses. Woooo lord. They're so simple, yet very gorgeous & risque!
I was doing a little browsing on 80s Purple, and I came acrosse these 3 dresses. They're probably some of my favorites that Ive seen before, & so I made a polyvore set for them showing off how Id wear them. Enjoy!

Dress #1:

Its at the top left, and Its my FAVORITE of all of them! How gorgeous is it?! I love how its short-sleeved, and the whole back is mesh black. My favorite thing about it it is how its curved at the top, and how it comes around at the waist! Yum yum! I need to stop calling clothes yummy haha.

How Id wear it is with a gorgeous sparkly bag like the one pictured! Also, Id add some nude platform heels to complete the look. Some light jewelry such as a simple necklace, and Im ready to go out. I wouldnt want anything to over-shadow the bag.

Dress #2:

Top left, right next to the first dress. I really like it, except its tank-top style, instead of t-shirt sleeved. Its not a PROBLEM, but I like the first one better because it has much more mesh, and it looks better. Tank top style doesnt give you much to work with, but I cant say it isnt gorgeous! Its a lot more symmetrical, which I really like, such as the rectangle style mesh coming around from the back, and the WHOLE back is completely mesh, as in the first one.

Id wear this dress with a really nice necklace, preferably with pearls in it somewhere (hello thrift store). For shoes, id wear some patent leather nude wedges for just the right fit. Maybe add a clutch in there for good measure.

This would be something Id probably wear out to the little dinners my friends and I have (Well Planned Freshman!).

Dress #3:

Its the dress in both pictures on the bottom right, and its PERFECT! HOW gorgeous is it?! The dress is long-sleeved, which is perfect because then you can basically wear it ANYTIME! I think its nice that the sleeves arent made out of mesh, because that would probably be an overload. It just has the perfect balance of everything! The back is also complete mesh. Its overall just an amazing dress.

Id wear this one with tall riding boots. I really love the look of dresses and riding boots, so Id wanna try that with this one. Id probably add in a satchel bag for keeping my things in, which would be leather and basically the same as the riding boots.

This outfit/dress is something Id wear out to the mall, or downtown with my sister to the movies etc.

The thing I love about ALL these dresses is that they're affordable! They're not like way out of my reach. They're at a great reasonable price, and if I need a new dress id definitely look at one of these. They're a little out there, but thats exactly how I am so they're perfect!

Also about his style, and how much he's influenced my own. I remember a while ago I asked about if I should do a post on him, & so here it is.

First of all, my dad's name is Wilson. Its basically a family name, and I have the feeling that if I ever had/have a brother his name would be Wilson too. My dad immigrated to the US about 6 years, then my mom, sister, and I followed. My dad's a journalist, and he absolutely loves it!

The best things about my dad is that he is understanding, patient, and just an all around fantastic person! Whenever I am in a bad mood, he's quick to change it into a good one. But at the same time, when I misbehave he's one to set me straight and tell me the correct way things shouldve gone. He barely ever gets angry at me, and is always trying to make sure my sister and I never sway the wrong way. My dad is the one at the hockey games, the pageants, the spelling bees, the honor rolls, and the graduations. He loves taking pictures. He loves sports, especially soccer! We have about 6 soccer channels in our cable service, and he watches EVERY single one of them!

OH BTW, did I mention he was a model for about 10 years? Mhmmm. My old man was a model back in my country. He was very successful too! It got kind of weird seeing my dad's face around though.....but I loved it. Guess thats where I get my looks from ;)

HOW MY DAD DRESSES:
If I may say so myself, my dad dresses VERY well! He's in his early 40s, and I think thats at the peak of when you know EXACTLY what you like to wear. Like no questions asked, just know what you want.
He has a lot of really nice suit jackets, and my favorite ones are his tweed ones. They're this like dark yellow, then there's little red and orange threaded parts going in and out of it.
Another thing my dad loves are corduroys! He has them in SO many colors! Except like aqua blue and other colors that are just......a little too much? He likes to keep it simple, yet still very stylish.
If I were to describe how my dad dresses, Id say he mostly dresses very preppy. The pictures above are just A FEW pieces from his closet, & so you can fill in the blank from my descriptions. Lots of jackets, over coats, pullover sweaters, and leather.
He owns lots of watches, and they're mostly silver and black-faces. Pretty simple, but I really like them.

WHAT MY DAD REALLY WANTS:
Desert Shoes! He's always looking at them when we go to the mall etc. Im thinking of saving up my money and surprising him with them one day........I really think that would make his day.

HOW HE HAS INFLUENCED ME:
In life, my dad has influenced me to be positive and look at the glass half full. Sometimes I dont always do so, but hey its worth a try! Also, he's given me my LOVE for writing! Thats why I literally am always on my blog, and why I made it in the first place. I always have ideas.
In style, my dad definitely gave me the preppy side of my style. My mom sort of gave me the "glitters", but she has her own post to appear on. All the Tommy Hilfiger, all the Ralph Lauren, all the vintage. Its my dad.

There's so much more I could say about my dad, but there just wouldnt be enough room! Ofcouse my dad incorporates other styles into his dressing, but this is the most evident. Its basically how I see him in my mind, and what I see in his closet. He also has a love for his favorite sports team jerseys, and so on. Its an ongoing story, my friends.

I have a theory that in a few years......Ill see my dad in GQ writing about journalism and dressing well.......oh yeah!

The thing I love most about the WHOLE set is the pictures! They're so pretty! Mostly of the stars etc. I really love that skirt too. Its so gorgeous! And those gold ballet flats are just as amazing too! Ive been thinking of getting gold sequin toms. Any thoughts on that? I saw a girl wearing them, and I immediately fell in love with them! Also, I really like the patterns on the lace. Basically, the whole outfit would just represent the sky.

HOW gorgeous are the bags & the scarfs? They're from Scout and Catalogue. I also really love those earrings! My mom bought a stone like that, and its absolutely amazing! Hey yall! Here's just a quick post with updated items from one of my favorite stores Carissa Black.
Carissa Black is a fantastic store full of handmade quality bags, wristlets, and all gorgeous things of that sort! The quality of the products is amazing! I was SO impressed with my coin pouch, so I definitely recommend this store! Gorgeous prints, amazing products, great look! Its all there! My little pouch was a must at football games ;)
Right now, the lovely owner Carissa just put up a sneak peek at the holiday collection! ALL I gotta say is Yum! Yum! Yum! Thats what I want under the tree!

Lookie here! Another outfit post! Ive been feeling really inspired lately, trying to find new places to take pics etc. I have something REALLY special coming up, with the help of my amazing friend Ali. Stay tuned!

So here's what I wore today. Its getting chilly, but its not too bad yet. Im wearing my new scarf that I got for $2.99 at Lands' End! YES $2.99! The sales going on right now are amazing! The jacket I got at Burlington Coat Factory this summer, & I love the layered fabric on the sides. And yes, I am wearing Uggs! My goal in life is to show people that Uggs can be cute and fashionable, not tacky and ugly. I think im doing pretty well! Haha.

Ive been waiting to do this post of a WHILE! I never really had the chance to do it, but finally here it is!
So, back in my 8th grade Art Class we did some pretty awesome projects! The one I decided to show you all is my armature. For the project, we had to pick one letter of the Alphabet that meant something to us, and then make an armature out of it. We made it using newspaper, and this super gunky stuff, which we just piled on top of an assembled cardboard cutout of the letter.People did their names, others did the names of their significant others, but me? I did the letter C. For Chanel. Why? Because Chanel stands for Class, Culture, & best of all Cute. Or not? ;)

I painted mine black, and then added white and gold to it. From gold and white splatter, to just plain C's all over, this is BY FAR my favorite project ive EVER done!

It took almost a whole month to complete, but I love the end result! I sort of miss that class.......just a little.

What do we have here? How about an outfit post? The sweater im wearing, aka the new love of my life, was called ugly by my "friends" and that random douchebag thats always at my table. Why? Well.....just because. But I love it! No matter who tries to bring this baby down, I shall love it forever! Its soft, has a million colors, and is just so ME!
Found it in the downstairs closet, and never let it go. And the sweets? One of the clubs at school had a bake sale.

Earn Your Way Up, Never Bring Yourself Down

That title has become my life quote. Ive been feeling down the past few weeks (like MAJOR downs, not just teen angst), but I just decided one day that I have so much to live for & that all I need to do is try my best, & ill get what I deserve.

I think that after that, most of my stress went away & things just fell into place. I always try my best to be cheery & happy, but sometimes I just need a day to be chill and sort of spend time with myself by myself. Its really good to do, & i highly recommend that for people & mostly for teenagers. Time by yourself is AMAZING! Go to the movies! Take yourself on a date! Even a Chipotle burrito can make everything ok! Trust me, it works!

Anyways, aside from my inspirational words i PROMISE to blog more! Ive finally de-stressed myself & feel like I can produce quality work now! Haha.

Ive recently begun to have an OBSESSION with J. Crew! Ahhhh they have the most amazing stuff! I plan on going on a little shopping splurge with the money ive saved up (ALL my own), so im super excited to snag up something from one of their stores!

I Skipped Homecoming........

TO BE IN A BIG FASHION SHOW!
Okay, so I THINK its time to fill you in on whats been going on in my life! The day of my homecoming, which was last Saturday, I didnt go. Why? Because I my friends was at fashion week! YES, DC FASHION WEEK! Well.........the passes SAID DC Fashion Week. SO im guessing it was fashion week? Either way, IT WAS AMAZING!
On the Friday before the show, we had our rehearsal and it was insane! On Saturday, we had a call time of 10:30. So basically I got there, we practiced some more, had fittings, practiced, then just got ready. I got my hair done to look princessy for my looks, & my makeup was done by a PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST! I was SO happy! It was AMAZING, &amp
I felt very blessed to be apart of that show, & I will post the professional pictures from the mini photo-shoot we had there & from the actual runway photographers. It was an all Eco Friendly themed fashion show at the DC Convention Center done by the Eco Friendly Fashion Association Of California, & mom came to support me, & it was awesome! I got to walk 2 different looks for 2 different designers, & it was a blast! Here are some pics she took of me:
